MidiPaddy support

Connection help, common questions and a direct path to report a problem.

Start here

Review the user manual. For Bluetooth problems, confirm the device is both paired and enabled as an output route inside MidiPaddy.

Troubleshooting

No sound

MidiPaddy generates MIDI, not audio. Confirm the receiving instrument or app and its audio output.

No MIDI output

Open MIDI Connections, refresh routes and select an available output.

Stuck note

Tap Panic. If the destination disconnected, reconnect it and use the receiver’s reset if necessary.

Frequently asked questions

Does MidiPaddy make sound?

No. It sends MIDI to a hardware instrument, computer or compatible app that produces sound.

Does it work with Bluetooth MIDI?

Yes. Pair through Bluetooth MIDI, then enable the destination under output routes.

Can it control another app?

Compatible apps can receive MidiPaddy’s virtual MIDI output.

Does it support aftertouch or MPE?

It sends MIDI 1.0 Polyphonic Key Pressure. MPE is not currently implemented.

Do I need an account or internet?

No. Profiles and settings are local. Network MIDI naturally requires a local network.
